Aerial display over Port Douglas

Legless, or nearly so?

This is a photo of a White throated Needletail taken by Wonga Beach identity David Cook. WTNT's are large swifts that migrate from their northern hemisphere breeding grounds to places like Australia in our summer where they are probably quite common. They rarely land and as a consequence of this they have small weak feet and legs - hence the term "legless".
On Sunday morning they were zooming over Port Douglas and Island Point in their hundreds. It is a light buzzing sound that will let you know that they are around.

The Hot Pot mobile website in Port Douglas

This week we did a mobile website for The Hot Pot
Being a restaurant/cafe with take away and home delivery options this mobile website or web app is set to benefit a lot of people not the least being the people who come to stay here.

Locals are using the app because they can order direct from it.
To get the Hot Pot icon on your phone simply go to qwe.com.au/hp and "add to home screen" if you have an Apple device or for Android users, bookmark first and then save to home screen.
