Lots of support for the Keys to Port Douglas

PORT VILLAGE SHOPPING CENTRE shops support the Keys to Port Douglas by displaying the "how to" poster on their front doors and front windows.

This is fantastic for them as well as our visitors. The visitors put the Keys on their phones and can access the shop's Facebook pages which are automatically converted to mobile format.

De-Amalgamation vote - Yes

5:37am. With 78% of the poll counted it looks certain that De-Amalgamation will take place in Douglas, Mareeba, Livingston and Noosa.

Now the work begins....................


De-Amalgamation Vote - Yes?

It looks like the YES vote for De-Amalgamation has come through for the former Douglas Shire. Source: The Newsport on-line newspaper.

The other 3 De-Amalgamation referendums held in Queensland are showing a similar result 90 minutes after the polls closed.
