Daintree River Ferry is back on line

Just about the whole of the Douglas Shire is back on line in the aftermath of Cyclone Ita.

The Daintree ferry is back on for all but the lowest of tides.

Take care on the road north of the ferry.

Port Douglas is back in business

Port Douglas is back to normal and ready for the Easter Holidays. 
Power has been restored to Mossman and the beaches. 
Work continues to restore the Daintree Village today (Tuesday 15 Apr).

Cyclone Ita has eased as at 6am Sat 12 Apr 2014

Here is hoping that it will ease even further by the time it gets near Port Douglas.
